I'm here!

Well, hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Allow me to introduce myself as SmashFan. I say this simply because I'm madly in love with a little idea I helped cook up called SMASH. I get to work on a lot of cool projects at the office, but this one by far is my fav. I possess so much love for SMASH that I wanted to start this blog so that you and my friends on the other side of the world can see what I've been working on—and to get in on the SMASH love.

And this is how it began ...
So there was this conversation about how we all keep little tidbits of goodness. For me, it's inspirational quotes, sappy cards, ad headlines, clothing labels, recipes and life lists. For my super-cool designer pal who sits down the way from me, it's sketches, jokes written on meeting notes, cool business cards, old photos from flea markets and painting ideas. For another co-worker-y friend, it's concert tickets and mementos about becoming a new mom. For still another pal, it's all the interior design ideas ripped outta magazines for her house.

And where is all this stuff? Well, I have a few folders and some mangy boxes full of this precious junk. Maybe you've got a drawer where you shove all your fun little nuggets because you have no idea what else to do with them, but you can't bear to put 'em in the can o' trash either.

Hence, SMASH. For all the moments and musings that stick. A series of uber-cool books that come with a SmashStick, which is a pen on one end and a glue stick on the other. Pretty nifty, eh? Now all your cool stuff has a home. Love that.

I'm assuming your someone from the company. Any smash books geared towards recipes (kitchen theme type book) I have lots of recipes cut out and would love to smash them in this type of book, thanks for your consideration
